The cross-border xDIH hub will provide valuable resources, collaboration networks, and best practices to researchers from the two institutions – “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iași (TUIASI) and the Technical University of Moldova (UTM), supporting strong and relevant cooperation with the business environment, with the support of partners from Digital Innovation Zone (DIZ) and the Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI).

The Association for the Development of Electronic Communications and Innovative Technologies (ACETI) is a non-governmental, apolitical, and non-profit organization from the Republic of Moldova, dedicated to fostering innovation in engineering and digital technologies, with a particular focus on the northern region of the country. Founded on the initiative of a group of IT-passionate professionals and volunteers, ACETI emerged in response to the need for stronger collaboration between academia, IT companies, and the local community.

Through career guidance events, technical trainings, forums, and roundtables, the association contributes to the development of digital skills, the promotion of IT education, and the growth of the regional innovation ecosystem.

The Technical University of Moldova (TUM) is the leading technical higher education institution in the Republic of Moldova, with a continuous tradition in educating engineering and technology specialists since 1964, when it was founded under the name Chişinău Polytechnic Institute.
